          Channapatna City is located 60 KM away from Bangalore towards Mysore which is 40KM away. Channapatna is famous as " Toy's City". City got International marketing for wooden toys and Handicrafts.

For the first time City was ruled by the King Timmapparaja Aras Later Jagadevaraya choosen it as his Capital city.

1) Kanva Maharshi Math and Brahmanya Theertha Brundavan is 6 K.M. away from Channapatna on the way to Kanva Reservoir.

2) Kanva Reservoir is 13 K.M. from Chananaptna.

 3) Maloor Aprameya Swamy Temple is 2 K.M. away from Channapatna on the High-way Between Bangalore and Mysore.

 4) Kengal Aanjaneya swamy temple is on the way to Channapatna from Bangalore. It is situated beside the Bangalore to Mysore High-Way.

 5) Igloor Barrage is 20 K.M. away from the Channapatna city. Igloor Barrage is on the way to Santemogenahalli and Akkoru.

 6) Bettada Timmappa is 13 K.M. away from Channapatna. It's on the way to  Nidasalige city.
