ಘನತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಸ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ:   ನಗರಸಭೆಯ 16-ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳ ಘನ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಸ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯನ್ನುಹೊರ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.  ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದಿಗುಡಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಕಸ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ.  ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಮನೆ ಮನೆಯ ಕಸ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿ ಸೇವಾ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ನಗರ ನ್ಯೆರ್ಮಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸುವುದು.ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ದೂರುಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯ ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವುದು, ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ-7256087    –ಪೌರಾಯುಕ್ತರು,  ನಗರಸಭೆ ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣ. 

Solid Waste Management:

Channapatna is famous for its wooden toys and handicraft. This city is world famous as "TOYS CITY". It has 31 wards 13 Major Roads. The city is situated in between Bangalore and Mysore, so frequency of buses from Channapatna to either Bangalore or Mysore is high, and city has High-way road facility.

    The City is famous for its Wooden Toys and (Lacquerware). In the native language (Kannada) Channapatna is also called as "Gombegala Ooru" meaning toys town in English. The city was ruled by the King Timmapparaja Aras, Later Jagadevaraya choose it has capital city.

          Channapatna Taluk comes under Ramangara District. It is headquarters is located in Bangalore-Mysore  highway, The total geographical area of the taluk is 53.587 hectares. It has three hoblies namely 1) Kasaba 2) Malur 3) Virupakshipura.
     The taluk is famous for toys. world wide market is available for this toys which are manufactured by tradational as well as advanced industries. It is also involved in twisting of raw silk and manufacturing silk and coconut is a major product of the taluk.

     Channapatna Taluk has Artisan Training Institute (A.T.I) which was established 94 years ago. This institute was established to promote channapatna toys. These channapatna toys are famous throughtout the world. These toys are made of a specific wood called "Aale Mara". The other crafts being imparted are carpentry, Lacquerware toys, coir and blacksmithy.
